Healthy Little Minds is a set of educational resources for emotional learning, made by Godswill Ambrose. This page explains in plain language what information the website handles and why. It describes how the site works today, and we will update it if that changes.
The short version
- Healthy Little Minds is made for adults to use with children. Children do not need an account or an email address, and we do not ask children for personal information.
- Most of the site works without an account. If you create an account or buy access, we keep your name, email address and purchase details so we can give you access.
- Payments are handled by Payhip. We never see your card details.
- A few pages use Google Analytics to count visits, which places cookies in your browser. See Analytics and cookies.
- What a child writes in our story journal and similar tools stays on that device.
- You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you. See Your choices.
Who we are
Healthy Little Minds (also called "Healthy Little Minds by Will") is created and run by Godswill U. Ambrose. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Healthy Little Minds. Healthy Little Minds provides educational resources. It is not a therapy, diagnosis or emergency service.
Children and adult accounts
Accounts are for adults only: parents, caregivers and educators. Children do not need their own account or email address to use the free resources or to use the library with an adult.
We do not knowingly ask children for personal information, and nothing on the site needs a child's name, age or health information. Please do not enter a child's personal or health details in the contact form or anywhere else on the site. If you think a child has sent us personal information, tell us and we will remove it where we can.
What we collect and why
Visiting the website
Our hosting provider, Netlify, automatically handles technical details of each request, such as the IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Accounts
If you create an account we collect your name, your email address, a password, and whether you use Healthy Little Minds as a parent or caregiver or as an educator. Your password is handled by our sign-in provider, Supabase, in protected form, and we cannot read it. We use this information to let you log in and open the library you have access to. When you log in, a sign-in session is saved in your browser so you stay logged in until you log out.
We send account emails (such as confirmation and password-reset messages) through an email delivery service, Resend.
Purchases and access
Checkout is run by Payhip, not by us. Payhip collects your payment details and we never see your card number. When you buy, Payhip tells us the email address used, an order reference, the product, the amount and currency, the date, and whether the order was later refunded. We match the purchase email to the confirmed email on your account to switch on your access, which is why we ask you to use the same email address for both.
Contact form
If you write to us through the contact page, we receive your name, email address, the topic you chose, your message, and the page and language the message was sent from. The form is processed by Formspree and delivered to our inbox. We use it only to reply to you and keep a record of support requests.
Updates
If you subscribe to updates (a sign-up form is available in the member library), we receive your email address through Formspree and may email you about new resources. You can ask us to remove you at any time.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand roughly how many people visit and which pages are used. It is loaded on:
- the English home page; and
- the member library home page and the parenting tips page, in every language.
It is not loaded on the account, contact, story, tool, topic or feeling pages. When it loads, Google places cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_ followed by letters and numbers) and receives information such as the pages viewed, the approximate location of your device, your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We use the results only to understand site use and improve the resources.
We do not currently show a cookie banner. If you would rather not be measured, you can block cookies in your browser settings or use Google's browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. Google explains how it handles data in its privacy policy.
Information stored on your device
Some features save small amounts of information in your browser. We do not receive it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
- Your sign-in session, so you stay logged in.
- Display preference, such as light or dark mode.
- Preview timer and the book chosen during the short member preview.
- Interactive story activity: how many times the story has been visited and anything typed into its journal. This stays on that device only.
- Weekly Growth Plan tick boxes, so you can pick up where you left off.
- Cookies from embedded players: the Will Talks page loads Spotify and YouTube players, and Spotify sets its own cookies when the page loads.
- Saved copies of pages and images, stored by the site's offline feature so pages load faster and some work without a connection.
Because this information lives in the browser, anyone else who uses the same device and browser profile could see it. Please keep that in mind on shared devices.

Where information is processed
These services operate in several countries, so information about you may be processed outside the country where you live.
How long we keep information
We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account exists or as long as we need them to provide your access, answer support requests, and meet accounting or legal needs. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of support. We have not set fixed deletion dates. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we need to keep something for legal or accounting reasons.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Passwords are handled by Supabase and are not visible to us, and access to account and purchase records is limited by database access rules. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a password you do not use elsewhere and log out on shared devices.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your account and the personal information we hold about you; or
- stop sending you updates.
You can also clear the data saved in your browser, and block or opt out of analytics cookies as described above. Depending on where you live, local law may give you additional rights. To make a request, use the contact page. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. This policy is published in English. Pages in other languages link to this English version.
